With over 20 years’ experience as a television network executive and producer of summits for executive women, Ms. Kopelan launched COACH ME Inc. in 2005. The COACH ME Institute specializes in group coaching, business education, and professional development programs that target emerging talent. COACH ME teaches the “unwritten rules and subtle skills” necessary for career advancement and leadership.
Committed to women’s leadership and ideas that can change the corporate landscape, Ms. Kopelan founded Bedlam Entertainment Inc. She conceived and developed The Corporate State: A Women’s CEO and Senior Management Summit in 1998; In the Lead: Women Entrepreneurs Re-Shaping Corporate America in 2000; and Women’s Athenaeum: The Thinking Woman’s Voice on Socio-Business Issues in 2003, The Corporate State: Canada in 2004 and BUZZ: An Executive Women’s Think Tank in 2005.
Prior to founding Bedlam Entertainment, Ms. Kopelan spent most of her career in senior management at ABC Television. As Vice President of ABC Morning Television, she directed the programming strategy for Good Morning America. Earlier in her career, she served as an editor for ABC Evening News.
Ms. Kopelan graduated cum laude from Boston University’s School of Public Communication and holds a special studies degree from the University of Grenoble, France. She is an advisor to Grace Institute, and serves on the Boards of The Capstone Partnership and The Council on Competitiveness’ Strategic Communications Initiative. She is also a member of The International Women’s Forum. Ms. Kopelan lives in Manhattan with her husband and has three sons.
